Hiya folks. Editor-in-Chief, Mike Rapin, here.

It’s with a sad heart that I write this post. As of today, May 3rd, 2016, DestroyTheCyborg! will be closing its doors.

We’ve spent an incredible eight years writing reviews and articles and rants and editorials about comic books, music, movies, books, video games, manga, and television, but it’s about time for us to retire.

The site will continue to live on as an archive, not only for our writers to hold on to their publishing history, but to continue to be a source of a heck of a lot of incredible reviews.

I pride myself on what we’ve been able to accomplish as a team over the years and I believe every person who has written here feels the same. Every writer has left their mark as they’ve come and gone.

This site has been a crucial part of my life since 2008. It’s been something I’ve kept in the back of my mind as a constant thing to work on; improve on. I will never forget the astounding work done here and I’m wholeheartedly proud to have kept this up for so long.

Yet, we all must move on.

We’ve had a few projects come and go here, but our podcast, I Read Comic Books, will continue to live on after DestroyTheCyborg!. You can find the I Read Comic Books podcast posted over at its own website: ircb.us.

I want to thank you all for your time in reading our articles over the years. Please feel free to continue to reach out to me at cyborg@destroythecyb.org if you have any questions or comments.
