Hello everybody and thanks for checking out my first article here at Destroythecyb.org! Back in July 2007, New Avengers #31 revealed that the Hand had been infiltrated by the alien race know as the Skrulls and Danny Rand asked the question, “What does this all mean?”
One year later, it all comes together in Brian Michael Bendis‘ new series, Secret Invasion. While it’s only been a few months, this truly epic saga is so vast that, before I review the latest issue, I’m going to bring everyone up to speed on the whole series.
After the break, my synopsis of the Secret Invasion plot so far. Warning: MAJOR SPOILERS.

In case you have been living under an anti-comic book rock for the last year, Secret Invasion is happening and we’re right smack dab in the middle of it. Lucky for us, Secret Invasion #4 came out today and after reading it I immediately had to blog about it, because plan and simple, it was awesome. With that said, things are rolling along quite nicely, and yet, just as many questions are constantly being raised as they are being answered. You can thank Brian Michael Bendis‘ amazing writing for that. There is a lot to talk about in this issue, so stick around after the jump for my synopsis, review and speculation. And plenty of ever-so-delicious spoilers, too.

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending Wizard World in Chicago. Seeing as this was my first comic book convention, I did not know what to expect. I was not disappointed, as it turned into one of the most enjoyable days I have had in a long time.
The day started with a lot of waiting in line. After arriving at the show 1.5 hours early, we waited outside with lots of other die-hard fans, including some guys dressed like Nazis (they say it was for an anime, but I am still skeptical). After getting in the doors at 9 am, we headed to meet Brian Michael Bendis and get him to sign some books. I have to tell you, meeting him made my day. As anyone who reads this blog knows, I love his work, so getting to talk to him and tell him how much I enjoy his writing was a real thrill.
