Why, hello! Hello! Hello! Welcome back to another amazing and intricate entry of the Weekend Whiz! This week I have a ton of stuff to cover (when one comic is equal to 400 pounds that is! Yeaaaa boi! Marvel comics brought back NYX and I’m gonna lay it on the line for all ya’ll readers out there yo!

But seriously, hell-to-the-yes. I picked up NYX: No Way Home #1 today and I was pretty impressed. Going from the previous series written by Joe Quesada which, if you really ask me, was pretty damn sweet (I read the TPB about a year and a half ago), I wasn’t sure if the new writer–Marjorie Liu–was going to continue the coolness and “street punk” factor of the previous series that made it so original. In the end, she managed to keep the coolness but didn’t quite grasp the wholeness of the “street punk” factor.
