So a few weeks back Erika referred a nice guy named Ben Chabala to our site. He was such a bad ass that he got ahold of me and asked if he could write for us.
After he sent me a review of the first issue of Hellboy: The Wild Hunt, Nick and I both agreed that we had to bring this guy on to our staff.
Look for a bio of Ben and his first review of Hellboy: The Wild Hunt #1 very soon!

Did I forget to tell you guys something? I think I did…
We have another writer who signed on a while ago, but until recently has been a bit busy which meant he didn’t really have time to write for us. Nevertheless, give a warm welcome to Shawn King!
Shawn owns Evil Squirrel Comics in Chicago and is an all around comic book fan (I mean, how could you not be working at a comic shop?). Keep an eye out for his first review shortly!

I can’t believe I (Mike) forgot to tell everyone!
We’ve got ourselves another very promising writer: Daniel Palacio! Dan is from the San Diego area and has been reading comics since he was 4 and sees no end. His unique end-all-sum-up is a great addition to our staff and I hope you all enjoy his future reviews. All in all, we’re lucky to have him.
Look for his first review of Vixen: Return of the Lion #2, very soon!

Ladies and gents, we’ve got ourselves a new writer!
Cory Ringdahl hails from the San Francisco Bay Area where he makes the internet work and also records himself on his computer. Being a ‘Marvel Zombie from way back,’ Cory reads a varying array of comics from Marvel with a touch of DC and some independent comics here and there.
With that said, keep a look out for Cory’s first review of Sandman: The Dream Hunters #1 in the next week!

So we managed to grab a new writer and he is jumping out of his seat to get a ton of reviews out for everyone.
Nick Wreden is our newest and youngest writer yet! Almost out of high school, Nick has just recently come into comics and from what I’ve read, he is a promising new writer!
Nick is starting with a recap of Secret Invasion #1-6. I hope you’re as excited as we all here at DestroyTheCyb.org are! Keep an eye out for these 6 recaps in the next week!

Given the success of Nick’s personal post about why he reads comics and a sudden rush of ideas between the two of us, Nick and I have decided to start writing weekly editorials on subjects we hope people can comment on and talk back and forth.
To kick start this whole ordeal, I’m going to begin by writing a series on favorites. I don’t want to give it all away (though it’ll be kind of obvious once I start the first one what this is all about), but I’ll be writing about 4 types of favorites that I feel everyone can talk about and give their say on the subjects. We really love seeing your comments here and hope that our “editorials” will encourage people to comment and talk to us and all of our other commenters–we’ve installed a thread-based comment system to help that along.
So keep an eye out for all of these upcoming editorials. I’ll probably be publishing my posts for this series on Tuesdays/Wednesdays (depending on how much time I have!) for the next month. After this month, we’ll be trying to get one of these bad boys out once a week. It shall be a fun journey.
One more thing we’ve decided on trying is getting guest bloggers. If you’re interested in writing an editorial on something for our site or just writing one review, shoot us an e-mail (cyborg@destroythecyb.org) and let us know what you would want to write about or even send us a copy of your post and if we like it we’ll post it!
And I think that’s about it. Thanks for reading guys.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, as hard as we all here at DestroyTheCyb.org have been, we can never turn down new writers and with that said, we’ve added a new writer to our ranks: Andrew Kovatch!
Andrew is a friend of Erika’s and is a fan of both DC and Marvel. Overall, he’s a super dude (not to be confused with Superman).
His first review (Batman: Year One) will be out soon, so keep an eye out for it.

Just today I got an e-mail from our new writer, and after reading two reviews of his we immediately said “Yes,” to him coming aboard.
From his e-mail, Jake Cole is new to the comic book world, but has become obsessed (aren’t we all?). He’s a comic book movie fanatic, so we’ll probably see a bunch of movie reviews from him in the future, but he’s promising some comic book reviews as well. So keep an eye out for Jake’s stuff in the very near future!

Holy-comic-book Batman! DestroyTheCyb.org has two new writers! Please be kind and welcome Erika Szabo and Matt “Gunther” Hensch!!
Gunther is a writer from ThrashPit.com and Leviatan-Magazine.com where he usually reviews all sorts of metal (the kind that will kill you) and Erika is a writer for antiMUSIC.com where she reviews lots of indie and experimental music. Strangely enough they but have a love for comic books and agreed with much enthusiasm to write for us!
I’m hoping that Gunther will have a review out by the end of the week and Erika should have one or two published in the next week or so. Us here at DTC are über excited to have them here and we know you should be too!

As a sudden twist of an IM from me we have a new writer!
Jeff Lanning–a die hard comic book fan surpassing that of any other writer on this site. Jeff’s knowledge knows no bound within the Marvel multiverse. Let’s send him a warm welcome with his next post as an arguments or sorts my to own crticisms of Chris Claremont.
