Two grown men playing 52 card pickup

I’m a big Marvel fan, though you wouldn’t know it by my previous DC based reviews.

Moon Knight #24 came out last week, guest starring the Thunderbolts; I’ve been a T-Bolts follower since their inception, and I really like their current line-up and story line, so I figured “Let’s give Moon Knight a shot!”

Gentle reader, I warn and beg you! Please learn from these, my mistakes.

Please proceed to read on after the break.

post Next Avengers, direct-to-DVD is okay by me

If you don’t know, I’m a huge fan of the Ultimate universe and when the Ultimate Avengers movies came out, I went out and bought them and watched them. Of course, they are kid-centric so the story is a tad watered down, but I still enjoyed both of the movies. They made me giggle as to how spot on they were at times in the first movie and how much of Mark Millar’s story they didn’t change. Steve Rogers (Captain America) was clean cut, Hank Pym (Giant/Ant Man) had anger issues, Tony Stark (Iron Man) was a drunk and blah blah blah it was all effing good. The second movie moved into a whole different story but it was all done very well. I loved it.

Now, after 2 movies, a new brand of a movie is coming out: Next Avengers: Heroes Of Tomorrow. The premise of the movie: When the world is in peril, it calls on Earth’s mightiest heroes: The Avengers. But in the future with all of the Avengers gone, who does the world call on?

More after the break.
